10 Nights Wildlife and Beach Safari

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT JKIA- NAIROBI

Upon arrival at the airport you will be greeted by a representative of Nappet Tours & Travel and assisted to the Sentrim Boulevard Hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure within the hotel precincts to be followed by safari briefing in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at Sentrim Boulevard Hotel- BB
   
Day 2: NAIROBI- NAKURU

After breakfast you will be Picked up from your hotels very early in the morning by/at 0700 hours and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. On your way to Nakuru you will pass through the famous Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, where you will stop over’s to have a detailed look of the panoramas view of this great phenomenon, the Great Rift Valley. You will therefore, proceed further to Nakuru where you will arrive early afternoon in time for lunch and check in at your hotel. Early afternoon will be spent at leisure; shower/ swimming or relax in your rooms. Late in the afternoon/ early evening you will proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for your evening Game Drive. Day 3: NAKURU- MAASAI MARA

You will be woken up for an early morning Game Drive by/ at 0600 hours before coming back to your hotel for breakfast. Early morning and evening are the best times to go for a Game Drive since most animals are still active hunting before the scorching heat of the sun sends them to the shads to lazy around. Afterwards proceed to Mara through Suswa Plains to Narok, the largest Maasai town. From there you will proceed to the world renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve where  One of the greatest spectacles in the world takes place here from July to October, when wildebeests, antelopes and zebras move from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara in search of fresh grass. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Early afternoon will be spent at leisure in the lodge’s swimming pool or having a walk around the lodge, to be followed by game viewing drive later in the evening. Dinner and overnight will be at Sarova Mara Game Camp- FB


Day 4: MAASAI MARA

This day Masai Mara will be your home. You will be woken up by/ at 6.00am for the morning game drive. This is the best time to see animals as they roam the plains feeding before the heat of the day sends them to the shades, return to the lodge for a late buffet breakfast.  The rest of the morning will be spent at leisure. After lunch the rest of the afternoon will be at leisure as you wait for the evening game drive. You can also choose to depart the lodge after breakfast and carry a packed lunch box and roam in the plains of the Masai Mara the whole day with a drive to the Mara River. An optional visit to a Maasai Manyata is an interesting opportunity for you to learn the Maasai life styles.  Dinner and overnight will be at Sarova Mara Game Camp- FB
   
Day 5: MAASAI MARA- NAIROBI

You will have an early morning Game Drive by/ at 0600 hours then coming for your
buffet breakfast. Afterwards, check out of your rooms and proceed to Nairobi. On your way to Nairobi you will pass through the Maasai market (optional) and buy some Maasai artifacts that include shuka’s/ Maasai kanga, Maasai sandals, sculptures and many other items of Maasai nature. You will also make brief stops to catch glimpses of the Great Rift Valley.  Arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch at the Sentrim Boulevard Hotel. Balance of the day will be spent at leisure. Day 6: NAIROBI- MOMBASA ( COAST)

On this day after your breakfast you will proceed on a safari to Mombasa by/ at 0700 hours, you will have your lunch/ snacks at Mtito Andei (Pay Direct).  Later proceed to Mombasa City to arrive in late afternoon/ evening and check in to your hotel. Balance of the day will be spent a leisure in your rooms relaxing, within the hotel precincts or at the beach. Dinner and Overnight at Mombasa beach resort- HB
     
Day 7: MOMBASA- MALINDI

After your breakfast proceed to Malindi ancient cultural town by/ at 0900 hours and combine a day of culture with the beach.  You will pass through Gede ruins, optional (Pay Direct entrance fees) Gede Ruins lies just south of Malindi, here you will witness the ancient lost civilization’s ruins. You will also be privileged to see Arabuko sokoke on your way to Malindi. This is one of the two remaining tropical rainforest in Africa. You will arrive at your hotel for a late lunch, after lunch you may spend the afternoon snorkeling depending on water movements. If not ideal for snorkeling then you will spend balance of the day along the beach or within your hotel as you await Snorkeling the next morning as it will be guaranteed for snorkeling. Day 8: MALINDI

This day will be spent at malindi marine national park/reserve. Malindi Marine National Park is the oldest marine Park in Africa, you may opt to visit the Mayungu Island, 5km from the Park where you will be serves with picnic lunch on the island made of a wide array of roasted fish meat, fruits, chicken and drinks by the boat operators. You will watch the meat being prepared on the island before being served. On this day you will also spend some time appreciating the marine life and relax on the beach and soak up some sun or spend your day enjoying some of the water sports available such as snorkeling, scuba diving and water skiing, on the beautiful reefs there. You will also have the chance to visit Vasco Da Gama pillar which stands just south of the modern town of Malindi at Vasco Da Gama Point. It marks the last stop in Africa before Vasco Da Gama sailed across the Indian Ocean to India in 1498. In the evening you will be taken for a city tour of Malindi then retire back to your hotel at a time of your choice.

Day 9: MALINDI- MOMBASA

On this day after your breakfast you will check out of the hotel and proceed to Mombasa City. Arrive in you hotel min time for lunch. Afternoon you will be taken for a City tour of Mombasa where you will visit Fort Jesus, the city’s largest museum and attraction. Built in 1593 by the Portuguese, this storied fort offer a glimpse into prison cells and torture rooms for slaves before they were traded. Head over to Old Town to walk through Mombasa’s varied architecture, which tells the stories of its history with its strong European, Arab and African influences.

Day 10: MOMBASA- NAIROBI

After your breakfast you will check out of the hotel and proceed to Mombasa town for last minute shopping OR spend some time along the beach then proceed back to Nairobi with an enroute lunch at Mtito Andei.arrive (Pay Direct). Arrive in Nairobi in the evening, check in to your hotel to freshen up then drive to the Carnivore for your last night dinner. The Carnivore is famed for a variety of all samples of Kenyan dishes. Day 11: INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT- JKIA

On this Day, you will be taken for a Half Day Nairobi Tour or Full Day Nairobi Tour depending on your international flight schedule, before being transferred to the JKIA to catch your international flight back home
