Kenya Weddings. That is a dream for many and a reality for a few. Jane was one of those who decided to make it a reality.
She arrived in Kenya on the eve of Easter all ready for her beach wedding in Mombasa. All was going well untill the actual day.
She had paid for her wedding as a hotel package with one of the leading hotels in the Coast. So, to say the least....she had it all covered. The price included the catering, cakes, music for the ceremony and all the perks that go with a hotel wedding package.
On her wedding morning, it so turned out that her hairdresser delayed on purpose. She wanted to extra money for job! She was also the one supposed to do Maria's make up as well.
She had to pay her another extra $100 for her to come and finish Jane's hair and make up on time. Jane thought that nothing else should go wrong. And nothing should have!
But during the ceremony, there were other 'un-invited' guests. Being a beach hotel, it was business as usual. So kids were playing everywhere and somewhat interrupting the ceremony. That is one thing Jane had not considered.
And many also prey to similar situations. Though reputable companies and hotels are good, always double check and get good reviews from friends and family before you commit your money.
