DAY 1 – NAIROBI – THE STANLEY HOTEL / NAIROBI SERENA HOTEL

This day you will arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport  where you will be met and transferred to a hotel at the city centre where  you are booked on bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 2– L. NAKURU

This day after your breakfast you will proceed to L. Nakuru National Park with a brief stop at the view point to have a panoramas view of this great phenomenon, the Great Rift Valley. Many million years ago, the earth's crust weakened and tore itself apart creating a jagged extending for over 5,000 km.  The feature runs north to south from northern Syria to Mozambique. The valley varies in width from 30-100 km. You will arrive there in time for lunch. After lunch the early afternoon will be spent at leisure/ swimming and the late afternoon you will embark on an evening game drive.  L. Nakuru is famous for its flamingos and not forgetting other wildlife like black rhino, white rhino, leopards, Rothschild’s Giraffe and many more. Afterwards you will have dinner, entertainment and overnight at L. Nakuru Lodge/ Sarova Lion Hill

DAY 3– MASAI MARA

After your breakfast you will proceed to the most famous reserve in Kenya, to arrive for lunch at the lodge. After lunch early afternoon will be spent at leisure and late afternoon you will embark on an evening game viewing drive.  Masai Mara is considered to be the jewel and highlight of any Kenyan safari.  You'll be enchanted by the diversity of animals, and topography.  In late spring, the grazers mainly wildebeest, cross the river bordering Tanzania with Kenya and travel north to the Maasai Mara for the green grasses.  Of course, the predators follow.  Here there are sightings of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, hyena, warthog, wildebeest, and zebra, just to name but a few. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara Serena/ Sarova/ Simba Lodge or Similar

Day 4– MASAI MARA

You will be woken up at 6.00am for the morning game drive.  This is the best time to see animals as they roam the plains feeding before the heat of the day sends them to the shades, return to the lodge for a late buffet breakfast.  The rest of the morning will be spent at leisure.   After lunch early afternoon will be at leisure as you wait for the evening game drive   at around 3.30pm. The Mara is the ancestral home of the ancient warrior people - the Maasai.  Fiercely proud and self- reliant, traditionally pastoral nomads, who have clung to their ancient way of life; living in harmony with their environment and the wildlife, together with their cattle, with whom they share a strong, almost mystical bond.  An optional visit to a Maasai Manyata is an interesting opportunity for you to learn their life styles.  Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena/ Sarova/ Simba Lodge or Similar
 

DAY 5 – NAIROBI – FLY MOMBASA

This day you will bid Mara “Kwaheri” or good-bye and proceed to Nairobi with a brief stop at the Masai Town of Narok. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon where you will be transferred to the airport for your one hour flight to Mombasa City. On arrival in Mombasa our representative will meet you and transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.  

DAY 6 – MOMBASA

This day you will be in Mombasa on your own at leisure on the beach or at the hotels swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at Whitesands/Sun n Sands/ Mombasa Serena Beach Hotels or similar
 

DAY 7– NAIROBI – DEPARTURE

You will have the morning hours at leisure until evening where you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi where you will connect with you homebound flight.
